Ann Marie Murphy graduated from the University of Scranton, magna cum laude, in 1980 and earned her law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1983. She is licensed to practice law in Washington, DC and Virginia. 

Ann has worked in various bank trust departments and law firms before opening her own law office in 1994. She dedicates her practice to serving the estate planning, elder law and trust & estate administration needs of her clients in Northern Virginia.

Ann currently practices law with her son Michael (Georgetown Law, JD in 2013). Her husband Mike (Georgetown Law 1968 and 1973) retired from the active practice of law in April 2016.He passed away in 2018 after a valiant battle with ALS.

Ann resides in Springfield, Virginia.
